Dear Joy
James Academy of Leadership Families,
On behalf of
our staff, I am happy welcome you to the 2022-2023 school year! We emerge this
year as a Leadership Academy…that title sounds good doesn’t it? Our student
leaders have worked hard to earn the privilege of carrying this title. This
will be our fourth year as a Stephen Covey “Leader In Me” school. We are all
leaders and can’t wait to see what develops in your child’s life this year. The foundations we build now will last a
lifetime!
I am
continuously amazed at the dedication of CISD and the Joy James staff to
providing our children with the highest of standards in learning. This includes
safety and security on all levels. It is
great to be part of a community where students, teachers and parents care for
each other and strive to build meaningful relationships that support academic
and social emotional growth.
To stay in
tune with all the great things planned for this year, get connected with our Joy

Campus Administrators and an Office Team that are eager to help answer your
questions.
Here are
some things we need your help with:

Complete your online registration as soon as possible…update
all phone numbers and familiarize yourself with Skyward Family Access.

Order uniforms so your child is prepared on day 1 to be in compliance
with our dress code.

Attend CISD’s Back2School Bash on Friday, August 5th
and Meet the Teacher at Joy James Saturday, August 6th at 10:00 am.

Expect your child to succeed! Actively help them meet the
academic and social goals they set this year.

do it without the strong partnership we have developed!

Estimadas familias de la Academia de Liderazgo Joy James,
¡En nombre de nuestro personal, me complace darle la bienvenida al año escolar 2022-23! Comenzamos este año como una Academia de Liderazgo... Ese título suena bien, ¿no? Nuestros líderes estudiantiles han trabajado duro para ganar el privilegio de llevar este título. Este será nuestro cuarto año como escuela Stephen Covey “Leader In Me”(Líder en Mi). Todos somos líderes y estamos ansiosos por ver qué se desarrolla en la vida de su hijo(a) este año. ¡Los cimientos que construimos ahora durarán toda la vida!
Estoy continuamente asombrada por la dedicación de CISD y el personal de JJE para brindarles a nuestros estudiantes los más altos estándares de aprendizaje. Esto incluye seguridad y protección en todos los niveles. Es fantástico ser parte de una comunidad donde los estudiantes, maestros y padres se preocupan unos por otros y se esfuerzan por construir relaciones significativas que apoyen el crecimiento académico y socioemocional.

- Asista a Back2School Bash de CISD el viernes 5 de agosto y conozca al maestro aquí en JJE el sábado 6 de agosto a las 10:00 am.
- ¡Tengan la expectativa de que su hijo(a) tendrá éxito! Ayudenlos activamente a cumplir con las metas académicas y sociales que propondrán este año.
