Visual arts are so important to the education process. We want our students to be able to be independent thinkers, collaborators, problem solvers, and be able communicate their ideas. We want them to be flexible and persistent. We want them to overcome mistakes. We want them to be understanding of differences.
There are many different kinds of learning abilities. In art class, each and every student can find an opportunity to shine… to build self-esteem, confidence and to be proud of themselves and their accomplishments.
