Mr. CrewsJoy James students learned about some unique jobs and professions on Career Day which was held on April 7th. Our third, fourth and fifth graders rotated through presentations ranging from piloting an airplane to pyrotechnics. They learned about the skills involved in store management, what a chiropractor does to make people feel better, how a nutritionist helps people live healthy lives and much more. Fourth and fifth graders also completed an online career inventory to help identify personal preferences and interests influencing career choice and success. Our Pre-K through second graders learned about all of the jobs that make our city a great place to live in an assembly led by Mark Heilman, representative from the City of Fort Worth. A BIG thanks to all of our presenters who helped us to think BIG and dream BIG about our future!
